Found along beaver lake.
Unknown species but they are fish according to the Museum of Osteology.
The top one is a dorsal fin from a catfish, but the bootom bone is a snake mandible, likely a common watersnake.
Identification is always fun to figure out.
These are indeed pectoral spines of catfish. If you Google jaw bones vs pectoral spines, there are many noticeable differences :)

Thanks for the comment. I actually sent pictures to the museum of osteology and the said the were fish jaw bones.
These are actually the pectoral spines of a catfish. I'm not sure exactly what kind, but they are most likely from a channel catfish.
