Popularmente chamada de Aranha-de-teia, são ativas durante o dia e a noite. A aranha de teia se alimenta principalmente de insetos. Quanto a reprodução,ela é ovípora e seu tamanho varia de 3 a 5 cm de corpo.Devido a alta resistência dos fios, podem até se tornarem armadilhas para pequenas aves,como o beija-flor. Popularly known as Spider-de-web, are active during the day and night. The web spider feeds primarily on insects. The reproduction, it is ovípora and its size varies from 3 to 5 cm corpo.Devido the high resistance of the wires, they may become traps for small birds like the hummingbird.

Habitat:

Essa aranha ocorre em todo Brasil e vive no bioma Mata Atlântica. This spider occurs throughout Brazil and lives in the Atlantic Forest biome
