Yellow slime mold

Description:

A long chain (about 6") of crusty globules of bright and pale yellow material found on the inside of a deep hollow in a decaying tree stump. Deep in the crevice some of this crusty mold seemed to have changed colour and shrivelled to a deep brown ( pic #3) The yellow masses collectively looked like scrambled eggs

Habitat:

damp eucalyptus forest

Notes:

could this be Fuligo septica ?? I could not reach down for a clearer photo -hopefully this is adequate for an ID
