Atlantic Spadefish

Description:

Medium sized silver fish with 4 to 6 black vertical lines. These fade with age. Anal and second dorsal fins swept back and fins have fine black trailing edges.

Habitat:

This pair found in about 4 meters of water just off mangroves on the island of Bastimento in the Darklands area of Bocas Del Toro Province, western Panama.
