Spotting

Description:

About 6 to 8 cm in total length, the body though is probably a lot less than half the length! The stripes were only seen once the picture was zoomed in. He looks like a member of the cricket family.

Habitat:

Lowland tropical forest, I assume. This guy was spotted in the KL Orchid Garden just chilling on a large leaf.

Notes:

I was totally surprised when I enlarged the photo and saw the beautiful eyes! I have never seen striped eyes in an insect before.
