Hey Lindsy! I'm working on an interactive mini-field guide to dragonfly identification. The guide will be focused on how to identify similar-looking dragonflies, such as the many species of female dragonflies with brown-and-yellow abdomens. I'm seeing a trend: I think you might be a female dragonfly specialist, Lindsy! But seriously, notice the similarity between the bodies of the female Widow Skimmer in your collection and this individual.
No this was taken a couple summers ago, I am still new to the site so I'm uploading some older shots. I'd love to know what I'm capturing. I thought I deleted the spotted date but I guess it fills it in anyway to the day I am uploading it.
I know it has been unseasonably warm, but did you actually spot these dragonflies in March?
