Description:

Blackbirds are approximately 29 cm (11.5 inches) long. The cock is jet black with a yellow-orange bill. Interestingly, the bill seems darker during winter. They have a beautiful, strong voice with different voice types. The blackbirds feed on invertebrates, e.g. earthworms, snails, slugs.
