@ Lars, actually I had to put some tint on this one, because it was in the shade and it looked almost blue. The other ones in the sun are all natural :) I think the light is better on the others... but it's also nice when the animal looks at you in a portrait :)
The color is absolutely fine on it, Jeannette. (in fact the previous choice appeared kinda slightly unreal/enhanced to me) I'd always chose the shot that shows the species character best (as far as it's a known species of course) - if unknown, I'd chose the clearest shot for identifying purpose.
I think the young ones have this beautyful red color. The older the more grey. See also the foxes in this mission http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/9862... for more great examples
@Jeannette I recently started a mission to see where people spot red foxes. I'm wondering whether they are only seen in nature preserves, or just anywhere. Would you please add it to this mission: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/9862... Thanks.
I know my english is terrible rusty.... I have changed it like you reccommend, but I am still not sure, because the colours are not the best of those two photos, but the images are better...
@ Nancy, this one had an extremely nice fur. Sometimes we have foxes with much thinner fur. I like foto #5 best, I think it looks cute and sneaky at the same time :)
What a beauty, it is such a joy when fox start trusting you. Different looking than the ones here in Alaska? The face on your is much fuller, and nose not as pointy? Just my impression......... enjoy him/her!

Great series, Jeannette - you have a real talent to capture shy animals. Congrats.
