With three light bands, this looks like australasiae. Basal blotches are almost continuous across the elytra and extend back along the lateral edge

Habitat:

On flowering tea tree in desert habitat.

I hope I am giving definitive clues to the differences, Mark.
With well over 400 Castiarina species to be found in Australia and very well represented in Victoria (maybe 150 spp.), we are going to get very confused.
I might have to go back to Paropsisterna.
