Thanks KristalWatrous, I miss-typed before and have now corrected it... I was thinking it was a cherry but the bark did NOT lean me in that direction. But your definitely right, it's a Magnolia, I would have never known, I've never known what they look like! Thanks again...

Ahh yes indeed it is! Awesome, thanks guys! Yeah Marsh Rabbit fits much better, Florida area only, near water, and the small ears.
We were kinda close Peter, "similar in appearance to the eastern cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus) but is characterized by smaller ears, legs, and tail."
