I spotted it in the alaris butterfly garden near walsrode, germany; a beautiful little butterfly garden, lead by a married couple.

The photo is a few years old; I don't think that I got more of that plant. All I know is that the ripe peduncle got this fruits over and over.

Of course there is. My girlfriend and me were on holiday on the german north see. In the tidelands (the biggest of the world) we met this little guy. I guess he missed the high tide and so he digged himself in to hide from the doves above. He was so camouflaged that I nearly stepped on it. Luck for us both - he wasn't hurt and I got this shot of him blustering for me.
