Thanks, Saturniidae27! I looked at several photos and, while I see some varying coloration, I found a few that resemble what I found. I also read that they mostly feed on nettle and fold the leaves over. Based on all that, I'm very confident that you are correct! Thank you so much!

Do you think it would do okay in a large container? Currently, all of my plants are in containers because I rent. That would certainly keep it from spreading much! And thank you - that's very kind!

This is something I would love to have in my garden one day. It's good for wounds, correct? My grandmother practiced some herbalism and always included this in her explanations to me.

Hey guys - I'll try to get a better photo including the stems and, if possible, the gills. I'm new to this and should have thought of that. I was using my iphone's camera because our slr was charging.
