Picture 2 shows the habitat of the turtles. The turtles gather on the stone structure in the foreground This spotting adds to wildlife in urban/suburban areas.

Lucky you to live so close to Huntley Meadows! I just read about Dyke Marsh Wildlife Preserve. http://www.nps.gov/gwmp/dyke-marsh.htm
The section about invasive species caught my attention as AmeriCorps has been teaching our students about their work removing invasive species and took the students out to remove some in the area. I'll have to check out the preserve one of these weekends. Thanks!

Our second grade students went on a field trip to Huntley Meadows on Friday. That place is amazing!! Nice photo you took of "Jabba the Frog"
