Here in Portugal these Percebes (as they are known in Portuguese) are a delicacy. Not so many years ago it was not that uncommon to hear of fisherman being killed when fishing for these creatures. Quite understandable when you consider they are mainly found among craggy rocks along the wild open Atlantic coastline.
