Not all red-winged blackbirds have the red stripe. Many times the best way to identify them is by the white stripe.
The bird on the left looks like it could be a white-throated sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis), if that is yellow at the base of its bill. Or a white-crowned sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys) if it's not.
Great shot of sky-pointing! I was never able to get a good one of any of the boobies doing that. Also, the subspecies for these is excisa in case you didn't know!
