The original name Bitta podalica was reinstated by Leavengood Jr. et al. (2024): Studies in the New World tribe Anisoscelini Laporte, 1832 (Heteroptera:
Coreidae: Coreinae): updated distributions, nomenclatural changes, and keys
to the genera of the tribe and the species of Anisoscelis Latreille, 1829 and Bitta
Osuna, 1984.

@9975349569s: Could you please check/verify the location you found this bug nymph?
Both species -Erthesina acuminata and Erthesina fullo- are not known from Africa...
