This Island is a small island in Casco Bay that is part of Long Island and Chebeague Island. You can get to Little Chebeague at low tide over a sand bar from Chebeague Island. The island is owned by the State of Maine and there are projects lead by Maine Island Trails to get rid of invasive species as well as document and clean up the island. It is used as a picnic and camping destination for many boaters. The Chebeague Island School is working on documenting the wildlife on this island and have taken a trip to look for Invasive wildlife.
Dick Innes, a local historian created trails and signs all around the inside of the island and now they are being kept up and maintained by the Maine Island Trails. For the history and more information about this island to to:
