Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Australia

Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Australia

A mission to document the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured wildlife, and to highlight the amazing work done by the many vets and carers (often on a volunteer basis) to nurse these animals back to health and release them safely into the wild. Please include the story of how/why the animal is in care and any plans for its future. Note: This is NOT a mission to document pets or animals that have been bred in captivity. Please only include images of animals that have been rescued from the wild and are being cared for with the intention of returning them.

This mission has ended and is no longer accepting submissions.

A mission to document the rescue and rehabilitation of sick and injured wildlife, and to highlight the amazing work done by the many vets and carers (often on a volunteer basis) to nurse these animals back to health and release them safely into the wild. This mission may also help to raise awareness of the human issues that can cause illness and injury to wildlife. The radius of this mission has been set to cover Sydney through to SE Queensland, so is particularly relevant to carers from organisations such as WIRES, WILVOS, etc. However, carers from anywhere are welcome to submit photos.
