Microscopic Life
Due to the nature of this mission a quality microscope is essential. The few exceptions would be when photographing extended colonies of bacteria or fungi grown in petri dishes or masses of slime mold found in nature. Although further imaging at high magnification would be invaluable for identification in these cases, it may not be entirely necessary.

The purpose of this mission is to photographically record and study the many forms of microscopic life that inhabit our world. Organisms reported will include all life-forms, single celled or multi-celled, that are not visible to the naked eye. They do not include small parts of larger organisms (antennae of insects / individual leave of moss, etc).
