K-RESA May BioBlitz

K-RESA May BioBlitz

Is our campus biologically diverse? What plant and animal species live on campus and which are the most and least common? Take a 20 minute walk with your partner with the objective of collecting data on as many species as you can. 1. Submit your wildlife spotting through our K-RESA BioBlitz class project on http://www.projectnoah.org/students 2. Use our identification keys and your prior knowledge to identify species. 3. If you are unsure of species ID, mark as "unknown plant #" or "unknown animal #" (replace # with a numeral). 4. Complete as many fields as you can for each spotting. 5. Be sure to tap or click "submit." Example of a large scale BioBlitz in Ontario: http://www.ontariobioblitz.ca
