Coral Snakes of the World

Coral Snakes of the World

Coral Snakes are some of the most beautiful snakes in the world. The focus of this Mission is the documentation by means of photographs of the Coral Snakes of both the New World species (65+), and the Old World species (16). Remember: “Red on yellow kill a fellow, red on black venom lack” only works in the United States, not elsewhere in the world. Sign in to join mission

6 participants 11 spottings

Please post pictures you have taken of Coral Snakes in your area or that you have seen in your travels. Spottings from urban settings are very welcome, but please, no zoo photos. Give the classification to the subspecies if known. If not, please post anyway and let the many experts on Project Noah help identify it. Give personal observations of “your” spotting if possible, not just a copy of the Description from Wikipedia, for example. In the habitat section, please put the habitat in which you saw “your” spotting; again, not just the range given on the internet. Any personal notes of the encounter are also welcome in the "Notes" section.
