Epiphytes Hawaii

Epiphytes Hawaii

What are epiphytes? Plants that grown on other plants! Epiphytes are anchored in our Hawaiian rainforest canopies and are sensitive to climatic conditions. Epiphyte communities in Hawaii can tell us a lot about how Hawaii will be affected by global climate change. We are interested to see where different species of epiphytes are growing in different places on Hawaii Island. Sign in to join mission
