Unique identifying markings,tails,wingtips,stripes and colors are visible from the backside. Sometimes observing wildlife only gives us a chance encounter,a backside view or photo of the wildlife that almost got away. The backside can give us valuable information and a more complete view of a species identified from a front or side view.
