ACPS BioBlitz

ACPS BioBlitz

How To BioBlitz Your class will go out in nature and try to count as many species that you can find. Everything thing counts from an ant to a oak tree. The class should divide into teams: plant, mammals, amphibians and fish, arthropods, reptiles, and birds. Each team will keep track of the species they find. Using a digital camera take a picture of each species. Keep track of the number of different species you find. We (Murray Elementary) are going to Bioblitz for 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon (12:30 -2:00) but you could use whatever time you want. After taking pictures of your species, upload them to this mission. That way we can see what everyone found at their school and we will learn about biodiversity in Albemarle County.
