The Olds College Botanic Garden is a rich environment containing a diversity of plant and animal life. Several ecozones characteristic of the Province of Alberta are represented on the site. Students and community members both enjoy and learn form what the site has to offer.
Maintenance of the site is critical to its success as a teaching tool for Olds College. In support of the maintenance plan the objective of this mission is to record the health status of plant life in the Olds College Botanic Garden. Spotting can include the plants themselves, evidence of disease, arthropod pests, encroachment by competing plants, or physical conditions that may impact the plants of the Garden.
