Spotted in a forest not far from Haputale, Sri Lanka.
Along shoreline especially at low tide.
Plexippus petersi is a jumping spider in the family Salticidae.
Spotted doing a display which involved some very strange deep thrumming noises.
Found these on the way up to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
found in moist forest undergrowth at altitudes < 1800 mtrs..
subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland ...
This is a tiny spider around 7 mm body lenght.
In the second picture, the bird has an insect in its beak.
A black bird with a red bill and red legs
Are they of different sex? not an expert here.need help in id....
