Description:

The egg case of the Chinese Mantis is distinctly shaped, Roundish with one end flat, making it easy to identify. This introduced species has established itself well in North America. It seems to tolerate cooler temperatures than most of our native species.

Habitat:

Suburban garden. Rose-of-Sharon.
