Feathered Thorn (male)

Colotois Pennaria

Description:

This cute moth was about 3 cm long, its fluffy head is about 1 cm tall, I'd say. Beautiful Feather-shaped antennae.

Notes:

It just showed up in my bedroom. Lucky me couldn't sleep that night so I tried to catch it but it didn't care for it very much. It landed on my floor so I grabbed a couple of lamps and took dozens of pics. I was feeling so lucky, it's adorable! When I thought I had bothered it long enough, I just let it be and went back to bed. The poor thing has been very patient!
