Chestnut weevil

Curculio Elephas

Description:

A little longer than 5mm, mainly white with a brown "face".

Habitat:

Found inside a chestnut bought at the local store (local product).

Notes:

This small Weevil was lucky I like my chestnuts raw or he'd be cooked already. I'm almost sure this is a Curculio Elephas, but do correct me if I'm wrong.
