Scale insect with ant attendant. The waxy white creature was about 10mm. Some pink-red markings... and an ant like wrap around sunglasses. The fluted skirt (at the rear) will expand to contain new scale insects which are tiny red creatures. It will eventually split open to release them. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/853...

This 'skirt' growing beneath the insect is an egg cover and made from waxy secretions.

Add destroyer to your name and that will make it correct. It eats Mealy bugs. A Helper in our gardens.
