Description:

American White Ibis are medium-sized wading birds. Their plumage is white with black wingtips that can be seen usually only in flight. The downturned bill is long, slender and a bright reddish-orange. Legs are orange.

Habitat:

Wetlands along the US Gulf and Atlantic Coasts and south into Central American and northern South America.
