Description:

The mousebird is dull-mousy brown in overall color. It shows a crest on the head. The beak is black on the upper part and whitish on the lower part.

Habitat:

The mousebird is found in most sub-Saharan habitats, except for the rain forests and more arid areas. This mousebird prefers open bushveld habitats.
