This Ornate Shield Bug was newly laying her eggs when I first arrived at Tawau Hills Park and I was able to see more eggs subsequently in the afternoon. This was on a bush very near, around 10 meters from my accommodation building. However, the next morning, she and her eggs were all gone, including the leaf that they were on :(. I suspect that she was eaten by a group of Long Tail Macaques that were going around the place early in the morning.
