Durian Fruit

Description:

Found these stinkers being sold in Chinatown

Habitat:

Imported to US from ???

Notes:

These spiky fruits are unbearable to some to hold because of the sharp as hell spikes on it. I myself have gotten bruised by the fruit hitting my leg. The fruit is heavy too but has a pleasant taste. Only some parts of the fruit can be eaten not the out side and usually 5 sections of the inside of the fruit. Yet the smell is PUTRID AND HORRIBLE I can't barly take a whiff of the ugly scent. Monkeys and other forms of primates usually eat this on their monkey diets since they are typically found in rainforests.
