Description:

About 3 inches snout to vent. Gray to golden brown colors. I found this one in wood debris from a juniper that was like an oasis in the sand dunes at White sands (pics 3 and 4). Aka the southwestern fence lizard.

Habitat:

Spotted at White Sands National Monument.
