Welcome to Project Noah, rthoma4! This looks like a mantis from the genus Tenodera. The largest and more commonly found mantis from this genus is Tenodera sinensis, the Chinese Mantis. It is an introduced species that has become quit common and somewhat invasive. They are really neat insects!
