Bulbous perennial plant native to Asia and the Middle East. Often used as ornamental plant in flowerbeds.
Alice, I think I found the id (Puschkinia scilloides). Maybe it is the same species as yours.
This looks exactly like a picture my son sent to me to put on Noah.
Does anybody know this species?
The flowers come from a bulb of course.
