Casuarina equisetifolia

Description:

Resemble pine, but different. These one belong to Casuarinaceae family (Angiosperms), of which has it weeping leaves, stem articulate, leaves (tooth) in whorl, has fruit that similar to pine cone.

Habitat:

Beach - native to Andaman to Australia and around.

Notes:

Just another pics of C. equisetifolia, a SEA native flora that reported as serious invader in some area, including Florida.
