Spotting

Description:

Pink/purple and yellow flowers with five petals, on long slender red stems. Leaves are thick and "swollen", and moist when broken

Habitat:

Fractured rock and sand, on the slope of a gorge. This area is very dry (desert), but has seasonal, large rainfall. Other vegetation in the area is typical desert "bush", consisting primarily of sparse low scrub and small groundcover.
