Found it on a cannabis plant.

Here's another species with a similar snout: http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/artour_a/51...It's definitely not a weevil (it has wings, not elytra), and no moths have a snout like that. However, it does resemble some of the odd fulgorids I've seen in the insect collections where I've worked over the past 11 years though.

Yes, we have some tropical fulgorids in our collection that are over 7 cm long. They can get quite large in warmer climates.
hmm... that would make it quite a big fulgorid !?
I believe it's a Fulgorid plant hopper.
