White Gilled Cap

Description:

Cap: 5.5 cm diameter, convex/ shield shaped, unsymmetrical but even, beige with lots of dirt stuck to it, Gills: free/ attached?, free I think... white, crowded but even, Stipe: curved, 5 cm long, bulbous base; 2 cm at thickest part , 1.2 cm at thinnest part, thick and fleshy, white, Other: no sign of lactating or bruising, near the base of a magnolia, Spores: no spore print yet,

Habitat:

ID? Tricholoma columbetta It could be... but no determining features.. Tricholoma subresplendens both of these are said to bruise blueish, this one did bruise sort of reddish orange on the cap but I may have just read into it too much, may have been nothing.

Notes:

for more pictures and commentary: http://procezzed.blogspot.com/2012/04/wh.... In one of the pictures the cap resembles a russula but I am fairly certain that it is not.
