Red ears can be aggressive especially the big females but there are many other turtles far more aggressive such as soft shelled turtles and of course snapping turtles. Out of the 4 turtles I am currently keeping one of them is a red ear slider and she is the most timid out of the 4 but not the most aggressive of the 4.

Yeah the lake I go to is a great place to see turtles. There are lots of basking sights all around it. The last three times I have gone out there I have seen at least 10 turtles each time.
