Description:

Rounded, evergreen shrub. Leaves elliptical and flat with 3 veins and greyish white downy hairs. Flowers pinkish purple and 40-60mm across; appear April-June.

Habitat:

Garrigue and open maquis, often on calcarious soil. West of Mediterranean region but not islands.
