This large turtle was found wandering about,he was an escaped pet.These turtles do not live naturally in the Sacramento area.They are escaped pets or offspring of escaped pets.Eats fish,worms,insects,shrimp,crayfish,blood worms.Red marking on side of ear.Green and yellow stripes.

Hi there. Since you know the identity of your organism, please go ahead and fill in the scientific name field. This allows the spotting to fully enter the database and become complete, letting groups and individuals use the data and find your spotting. It also takes the spotting off the "unidentified" list. Sadly, this species is in A LOT of places it doesn't belong. Out of curiosity, what did you end up doing with it?
