Red Eared Slider Turtle

Trachemys scripta elegans

Description:

This large turtle was found wandering about,he was an escaped pet.These turtles do not live naturally in the Sacramento area.They are escaped pets or offspring of escaped pets.Eats fish,worms,insects,shrimp,crayfish,blood worms.Red marking on side of ear.Green and yellow stripes.

Habitat:

Wetland,pond.

Sadly, this species is in A LOT of places it doesn't belong. Out of curiosity, what did you end up doing with it?
