Moth

Description:

A zebra patterned moth about 1.2 cm in length, white with metallic blue-black bands. The antennae are longer than the body of the moth. The posterior wing fringe is orange. The legs are also banded in black and white.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light set up along the highway on a cliff between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 18.5, 1164 meters elevation.
