@ ceherzog, I have been thinking of doing it before you were questening the breed, because I wasn't sure if I had mixed ttem up, and I think she would be happy to see the photos of her dogs :) Lovely when you see a pet that reminds you of your own lovely ones :)

No big deal! The pics are neat and I just looked at the face and thought of my best dog ever, Ms.Daisey (excluding my present best dog, Mango).
Actually I don't know very much of sledgedogs except they are beautiful and clever dogs :)
The other I think was Alaskan (the funny one) doesn't have pointed ears either....
I think she was very aware of the breeding of her dogs. I don't think she would mix them. I can try and write to her, to get it clarified :)
It's probably a mixed breed...the face looks just exactly like my old Coon Hound Daisey.
Alaskan Huskies have pointed ears, don't they? Even that hop wouldn't lay them down like a hound's ears. The other photo of the blue-eyed dog looks like a mixed breed to me.
I just looked up Coonhound, it definately wasn't that, it was a sledgedog of some kind. Here are some other dogs from same "farm":

I have tried to remember what kind of dogs was there, and I think there only was Alaskan and a very few Siberian Huskies. But I might be remembering wrong as it is 4 years ago. I have never heard of Coon Hound, I think I would have remembered the name if I was told it (even 4 years ago). It doesn't ring a bell.... You might be right...I don't know... :)
Pretty funny...but that Husky looks like a Coon Hound!
