Antonio ,it is always nice going up here. But the problem is that there is heavy vegetation and it is very difficult to spot anything.If you google Mt diablo you will see the wild life there. There are snakes,frogs etc. The only time I spotted frogs is in September.In that month there were millions of frogs smaller than a penny under a tree near Bob's pond. They were tiny and it was so sunny that taking pictures was not possible. There were 3 types mixed . Because they were so tiny it was hard to tell.You can see tadpoles. At least in the year that i have been trying to spot frogs, I have not been lucky in this 3 mile radius. I will try else where. am also interested in talking to Gary Bogue ,who is a very well known conservationist for Mt Diablo. His conservation work has been tremendous. You can read about him on line too.He has a lot of interesting stories.
