Description:

Small tit, from far away reminds of Great Tit in washed-off colours, but it much smaller. Mainly grey and brownish, with distinctive black cap and bib; easily confused with Willow or Marsh tit - except for white stripe on the back of head - well seen in pics N° 2 and 6.

Habitat:

Coniferous montane forest, mainly fir trees; seen in large numbers, and in flocks, everywhere in higher altitudes in Jura range.
