Presbytis melalophos melalophos
We came across a tribe of about seven Yellow-handed Mitered Langurs on the road from Sungai Penuh to Tapan, Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia. Notice the white tail in the third picture coming from an infant being held by his mother. http://www.arkive.org/mitred-leaf-monkey... http://www.iucnredlist.org/apps/redlist/...
Every part of Sumatra has a different subspecies of leaf monkey with varying coloration. 4 species and 21 subspecies throughout the island (according to the 1987 edition of The Ecology of Sumatra). http://i44.tinypic.com/343gbk7.jpg
