Description:

7 inches, Male. Dark Brown Shiny Head, Glossy Black Body, dark gray conical bill. Feeds on grains, insects, grass, seeds. Seen visiting our bird feeder. NO NEST! Finds host nest to lay eggs. These birds parasitism reduces the breeding success of many species and in some cases poses a severe threat to their survival.
